Recently, NASA made oxygen on mars, 3-D printed schools opened in Africa, electric vehicles outsold diesel for the first time in Europe, and many other fantastic events happened for our civilisation. However, a war against humanity is continuously lurking worldwide despite all these spectacular achievements.

In 2022, there are currently 59 active wars happening worldwide. Undoubtedly, it’s a considerable number of present-day conflicts, ranging from political disputes, high levels of unemployment, environmental degradation, or economic incentives, resulting in millions of inhumane deaths.

With the establishment of the Russo – Ukrainian war, the endless Yemeni crisis, 44 years of Afghanistan conflict, Israeli war in Gaza and much more problems, it’s clear that war against humanity is slowly destroying our entire society.

“World War III is among us already.” Although, this might not be physical; with the current state of dehumanisation, native displacement and acts of political repression, it’s undoubtedly affecting everyone globally.

The anti-war movement needs to grow exceptionally and from a globalised perspective. However, the only worrying struggle is that many are unaware of this war against humanity. That’s because it’s strongly censored and downplayed by popular media outposts.

For this reason, i’ve developed this post to inform readers about how the Ukrainian battle, Yemeni crisis, Afghanistan conflict and other problems have merged to create this so-called hidden war against humanity.

Why is there a war against humanity?

The reasons for war to develop vary, but usually, they establish because of economic gain, territorial benefits, religion, nationalism, political revolution, and more. The reasons below are the primary explanations for why the Russo – Ukrainian war and the Yemeni crisis were established.

But how does this mean we’re in a war against humanity? Let’s discuss this with statistical data:

• Due to the escalation of conflict in Ukraine, it’s expected that 4 million natives will become refugees

• Since the Yemeni crisis, 24 million people require assistance with basic human needs: schooling, food, freshwater, and housing

• An anti-war movement spread across Russia due to the Ukrainian war, which resulted in 4,300 people getting arrested in a single day

50+ Globalised brands like Unilever, Ikea, H&M, Shell, and many more, have been forced to re-examine their ties with Russia after the invasion of Ukraine

• Today, two billion people are affected by war-like crimes, and half of these will be affected by extreme poverty by 2030

By becoming knowledgeable on the above, it’s easily determinable that we’re experiencing World War III; the war against humanity.

The number of people affected worldwide is astronomical, most of them being anti-war or hatred. Although this hasn’t directly impacted anybody in most European countries, UK and US, it has indirectly presented issues, which we detail below.

Should We be concerned about the war against humanity?

Arguably, this war against humanity is the most threatening problem we have in our modern lives. Although there are many different concerns like global warming, etc., people being shown propaganda, growing up around war, and countries threatening each other with nuclear weapons is much worse.

Therefore, yes, everybody should be concerned about this “secret” World War III, whether they’re living in war-torn countries or not. It doesn’t only affect these locations like Ukraine, Yemen, and Afghanistan; everyone can feel the impact. To grasp a better understanding of this, some primary concerns are below.

Politics and the economy

Undeniably, any war’s most far-reaching political effect is that it can annihilate the community, state, and the entire country. During this circumstance, citizens and people in the surrounding countries are put under a state of emergency or martial law, meaning freedom of choice, speech, and activities are restricted considerably.

With this, those living worldwide gain distrust about a country or group of individuals, while others don’t, dividing us further. In addition, the country’s hard-earned money is flushed by protecting or attacking another country. Including:

• Increased military expenditures, even countries with poor economies

• Destruction of humane living (water supply, transportation systems, etc.)

• Macroeconomic effects like limitations on savings, investments, exports, and inflation

Some of these expenses also transfer to neighbouring countries or worldwide. For example, Germany has recently donated 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 stinger missiles to Ukraine, which will undoubtedly increase military expected expenditure for the year.

Destruction of infrastructure

Including the above, war brings severe destruction of infrastructure that normally cripples countries. For instance, certain countries’ foundations can be destroyed, such as bridges, sewage systems, factories, etc., causing catastrophic economic problems and many worldwide.

An example of this is Yemen and Ukraine. Each country’s most valuable and highest export is focused on petroleum products. Because of this, the entire world is affected as crude oil has reached a 13-year high within only a few months.

The global environment

In addition, damages caused to the environment during the war can affect us for years to come. With new technologies, chemical warfare is continuously being threatened, which can cause mutations, cancers, and various other internal health problems for decades.

When a country or group uses weapons that release these chemicals, they linger around the environment for years, making areas uninhabitable for both wildlife and humankind.

Society displacement

Also, society displacement or forced migration becomes apparent pre, during, and after most significant wars. Therefore, it’s not only stress on the country’s economy, but also others around the globe.

According to the UNHCR, 82.4 million people were forcibly displaced into new countries as refugees in 2020. It’s a considerable number of individuals, with many transferred to countries like Turkey, Colombia, Pakistan, Uganda, and Germany. Therefore, despite many of these countries not being in any significant threat, there’s still a backlash from wars they don’t participate in.

How can We help with the war against humanity?

After reading this post, you should have a more comprehensive understanding of this so-called World War III that’s silently brewing around our society. However, we can reduce the impact felt by these substantial problems.

First, peaceful anti-war movement rallies can help the war against humanity be heard. It’s unbelievable how many people aren’t aware of what’s currently happening worldwide, meaning they can’t support it. The more people who know, the better chance we reduce the impact.

Second, donate when you can. Organisations like DEC and CARE are tremendous at helping those in need. With the donations, they support families, communities, and the country with food, drink, emergency aid, etc.

Thirdly, get social. The power of social media nowadays is unbelievable. Follow charity pages, increase their exposure by sharing, donate when you can, and engage with their content. Doing this goes a significantly long way and helps strengthen the anti-war movement against this hidden World War III.
